YASHODA AI, launched by the National Commission for Women (NCW) and powered by Future Shift Labs (FSL), is India’s pioneering initiative to bridge the gender divide in AI awareness and digital empowerment. It is more than a campaign: it is a transformative movement that equips women across India with the skills, tools, and confidence to navigate, shape, and lead in an AI-driven world.

YASHODA AI workshops tailor AI learning to women’s diverse roles—students, policewomen, homemakers, and professionals. Through accessible concepts, ethical framing, and multilingual delivery, the curriculum makes AI practical, responsible, and relevant.
Expert Facilitation
YASHODA AI sessions are led by AI, cybersecurity, legal, education, and social-science practitioners. Jargon-free storytelling and practical examples make the sessions credible, inclusive, ethical, and closely connected to everyday life.
Live Demonstrations
Hands-on demonstrations cover practical tasks such as spotting deepfakes, checking suspicious links, and using AI for study, work, and business. The approach builds confidence by showing AI as visible, useful, and manageable.
Feedback & Iteration
YASHODA AI evolves through participant feedback and emerging AI risks. Beyond the workshops, the AI Sakhi network provides peer support, safety guidance, and learning resources, helping turn one-time sessions into a sustained community journey.
