Vision
The Centre of Inclusivity focuses on addressing data bias and algorithmic exclusion that disproportionately affect women and marginalised communities. Through capacity-building programmes, media and AI literacy initiatives, and tools such as the AI Digital Passport, the Centre equips women with the skills to critically understand and responsibly use AI technologies. Emphasis is placed on enabling women to identify misinformation, deepfakes, and AI-driven harms, strengthening digital safety, informed participation, and resilience online.Through the Yashoda AI initiative, the Centre envisions a national, women-centric platform that empowers women to engage meaningfully with AI as a force shaping society, governance, media, and economic opportunity. Complementing this, the Centre’s Tech and Labour research focus examines the impact of AI and emerging technologies on work, particularly within India’s growing platform and gig economy. With millions of jobs facing automation risks and major labour reforms underway, the Centre advances forward-looking research on the future of work, power asymmetries, and worker well-being to support inclusive and equitable digital futures.
